Aylett Nurseries

Aylett nurseries is an independent family owned garden centre, established in 1955. Specialising in dahlias we offer a wide selection in a vast range of colours, sizes and forms. The welcome show of colour dahlias can provide when summer bedding plants start to fade, make them a must for the all-year-round garden.

The nursery also produces bedding plants, geraniums, fuchsias and hanging baskets. During spring our glasshouses are a mass of colour. Our extensive plant area contains a profusion of shrubs, trees, alpines, herbs, azaleas, climbers, roses, herbaceous and much more. As well as an A to Z of plants, if you are looking for ideas we have plenty of display beds, and demonstration gardens.

In the garden shop you will find all the sundries that you would associate with a first class garden centre and we also have a range of garden furniture and barbeques. Houseplants are another of our specialities; there is also a vast selection to suit all tastes from the traditional favourites to the more exotic specimens. The houseplant department also displays a range of planted bowls created by the Aylett's experienced team and a superb selection of flowering plants. Our flower shop offers a wonderful range of fresh and artificial flowers, china and glass vases.

The gift shop has a bevy of interesting and unusual gifts from scented candles, stationary items and jigsaws to toiletries and sundials. Our coffee shop provides a welcome stop while visiting the garden centre, serving a selection of home-made cakes, light lunches and snacks. All these facilities combined with our reputation for customer services makes Aylett nurseries a one-stop centre for every gardener.
