Gordale Garden Centre

Still owned and personally managed by the Nicholson family, who founded Gordale back in 1948, Gordale garden centre occupies 10 acres of both covered and open areas, providing plenty to do whatever the weather.

A particularly attractive feature of this excellent garden centre is its park like setting, complete with pond, peacocks and other ornamental fowl, which provides interest and inspiration for the young and old. The professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff are always on hand to offer specialist advice and information. Gordale offers a large selection of trees, shrubs, bedding plants and landscape items.

The indoor area has a wonderful array of house plants, including many unusual varieties not generally available. Complimenting this are ceramics, candles, silk, dried and fresh flowers, patio furniture, barbecues, lighting, giftware and Christmas goods everything you need to enhance your garden and home. The light and airy coffee shop seats 180 people and serves light refreshments home-made cakes and gordale's renowned ice cream. It is an excellent place to sit and relax and enjoy the surroundings.
